Le challenge de la semaine pour le tournoi de l'été organisé sur le forum En Quête de Scrap était de s'inspirer de la chanson de Yannick Noah "Aux arbres citoyens". Il fallait obligatoirement mettre un objet de recupération. Voici une page très nature. Les photos ont été prises au lac de Chalain dans le Jura. Merci à ma NSP pour le papier plaid !

This week  the challenge  for the En Quete de Scrap forum's summer tournament required to get the inspiration from Yannick Noah's song "Aux arbres citoyens". It was necessary tu put a recycling object. This is a nature layout. Pictures were taken at Chalain's lake in Jura (France). Thanks to my NSP for the plaid paper!

 

Le deuxième challenge du tournoi de l'été sur le forum En Quete de Scrap avait pour consigne de s'inspirer de la chanson de Dorothée "La valise". Mais oui  vous vous souvenez, "...et mes chaussettes rouges et jaunes à petits pois..". Il fallait donc que la photo comporte au moins un objet de la valise de Dorothée. Ici, Alain porte des lunettes de soleil, une casquette et un T-shirt. Il fallait aussi un papier avec des pois.

The second challenge of the En Quete de Scrap forum's summer tournament required to get the inspiration from the Dorothee's song "La valise" (The Suitcase). I don't think that other people than French know this singer and entertainer. She animated a kids show in the 80'-90'.
For the challenge it was necessary to have a photo with at least one object of the lyrics and a paper with polka dots. Here, Alain wears sunglasses, a cap and a T-shirt.

Une petite carte pour l'anniversaire de ma tata préférée.  ;) Des petites oies en bois car je sais qu'elle les affectionne. Le fond a été fait avec des craies.


A little card for my favorite aunt's birthday.  Small wooden geese that I know she loves them. The background has been made with chalks.

J'ai eu la chance d'attraper le scraplift barjot une deuxième fois et ai clotûré ce challenge. Comme vous pouvez voir ma page est très différente de la page du début. Cela a évolué en 15 jours !   Voici la page Dedel que je devais scraplifter.

I have got the chance to catch twice the crazy scraplift and have ended this challenge. As you can see my layout is very different from the begining. It's evolved in 15 days!  Look above the layout that I had to scraplift.

Les tags Date et Lieu sont mes petites creations que vous pourrez trouver ICI. Je les ai encre avec de l'encre Distress Old paper.

Journaling :

I can't describe it, the stillness of the lake.
Small boat puttering out,
causing ripples in the water.
In the bows a young woman in what looks
from here like nylon underpants
bends over, causing ripples in me.

It's spring here. The air is sweet and warm.
Two hundred miles to the south
in that lush overhung valley the air was dank.
Long chill shadows till four each afternoon
when the sun slithered across the terrace
like a host of golden lizards,
nibbling toes: a small ten digit pleasure
that somehow aggravated with its meanness,
stirring up a cauldron of resentments
and bitternesses best left undisturbed.

But here.
I can't describe it.
The stillness of the lake.

After having aged the picture previously, here is the layout made.
I used Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket  & Life's  Journey papers.
The Date and Place tags are my little creations that you could  find HERE. I inked them with the Old paper Distress ink.
